The Book

In the collaboration between History Moves and WIHS Chicago, this book is the first output that aggregates the personal stories into a shared history—using the methods of design to translate the individual into the collective. Working from the book, the team continues to expand and distribute the material with a few more projects in the works: a short film as well as a mobile exhibition.

Dear colleagues,

I’m curator in a french national museum -the Mucem, Museum of civilizations from Europe and the mediterranean – working on an exhibition project about hiv-aids.

I heard about your exhibition and oral history project and it looks very interesting.

I wanted to order the catalog/book “I’m still surviving” but I didn’t find any website.

How could we buy this book for the Mucem library?

Best regards

Florent M. (florent.molle@mucem.org)

Dear Florent,
Thanks for reaching out. We don’t yet have copies of the book available for purchase. I am hoping it will be available by the summer of 2019.

Best,
Jennie Brier
